The Latino Coalition Joins Innovation Economy Expo as a Collaborative Partner

The national organization’s participation strengthens the mission of May 9 gathering.
SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, February 19, 2013 – A national organization representing the interests of Latinos in business is the latest in a growing number of strategic partners of Innovation Economy Expo, which is taking place on May 9, at the Ontario Convention Center in Southern California.
The Latino Coalition (TLC) has become one of the most effective and respected national groups addressing issues that directly impact Hispanic owned businesses through aggressive issue advocacy campaigns, legislative initiatives and endorsements. TLC operates nationally with offices in Southern California and Washington DC as well as internationally with offices in Mexico, which serve as portals for trade opportunities in Latin American markets.
Innovation Economy Expo is a day-long crowd-driven forum that provides local businesses with the resources needed for growth in a new innovative global economy.

The Kauffman Index of Entrepreneurial Activity shows Hispanics accounted for as much as 23 percent of new entrepreneurs in 2011. Within a few years, Latino purchasing power will surpass $1 trillion annually as their influence in business continues to climb.
